Austin Named #1 Economic Boomtown
In a new CoworkingCafe report that looked at GDP, business growth, and other factors, Austin is ranked as the fastest-growing large U.S. city for economic expansion. Other Texas cities including Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio also made the list.
In WalletHub’s newest ranking of the nation’s best large real estate markets, Austin secured the No. 7 spot among cities with populations over 300,000. The list was based on 17 metrics, including affordability, market health, and economic environment.
During a recent five-month period, Leander’s 78641 ZIP welcomed more than 3,300 new residents, making it the fourth-highest inbound ZIP code nationwide. The area is popular for its top-rated schools, planned communities, and commuter-friendly access to Austin.
